Our position

PuroGoal respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users and partners to do the same. We comply with the principles of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and with applicable copyright law, and we respond to clear, valid notices of alleged infringement.

Before you file

Please make sure your complaint actually concerns material that appears on a PuroGoal URL and that you are the rights holder or are authorized to act on the rights holder's behalf. Factual sports data such as scores, fixtures and league tables is generally not protected by copyright; notices about such data may fall outside the scope of the DMCA.

Filing a takedown notice

To submit a notice of alleged copyright infringement, provide a written communication that includes all of the following:

1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are involved.
3. The exact URL(s) on PuroGoal where the allegedly infringing material is located, with enough detail for us to find it.
4. Your full contact information: name, mailing address, telephone number and email address.
5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Where to send it

Submit your notice through our Contacts page using the subject line "DMCA Notice". Incomplete notices may delay our ability to act.

What happens next

We review every properly submitted notice. When a notice is valid and complete, we will act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the material identified, and we will make a reasonable effort to acknowledge receipt of your request. We may also forward the notice, including your contact details, to the party who supplied the material.

Counter-notification

If you believe your content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice through the same channel. An effective counter-notice must include:

1. Your physical or electronic signature.
2. Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
3. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
4. Your name, address and telephone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts and to accept service of process from the party who filed the original notice.

We will follow the standard counter-notification process before any material is restored.

Repeat infringers

In appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, we may limit or remove access for parties who are found to repeatedly submit infringing material or who abuse this process.

Trademarks

Team names, club crests, league marks and logos referenced on PuroGoal are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and informational purposes only. Their use does not imply any affiliation or endorsement.

Misrepresentation

Please note that under applicable law, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages. Submit notices in good faith only.
